Workshops

Polyglot's workshops program take place in schools and at public festivals, encouraging creativity without fear of assessment, in the confidence that there is no right or wrong. Puppetry is limitless in its flexibility and imagination, allowing children's creative choices to take form and shape in an entertaining and constructive way.

Polyglot offers:

Why workshops are important.

  • Learning by doing
  • Children as participants in the creative process
  • Development of skills in puppet building and performance
  • Finding out about students abilities through a different medium
  • Communication of ideas through a different medium
  • Engaging the imagination
  • Encouraging the best in each child - keeping their choices free from assessment
  • Allowing children time and space to work at their own pace
