Polyglot has a clan of dedicated volunteers who donate their time to have fun, gain experience and help us produce beautiful theatre for kids.

Work Placements

Polyglot regularly provides work placements for people looking to contribute to a positive, fun office and to gain experience in arts administration, production management, marketing, or community liaison work.

Secondary school students can expect to experience the administrative aspects of arts management, prepare for workshops, or observe the creative process of new work being developed in the rehearsal room.

Tertiary students are expected to have a more hands on role in arts administration and/or production. Polyglot welcomes tertiary students wanting to undertaken practical assessed placements as part of their tertiary courses.

Polyglot has very limited capacity to meet work experience and teriary placements.

Volunteers

Regular and casual volunteer opportunities are also available to members of the community who have time to give and are able to pitch on and help us with front of house, mail outs, our kids creative committee activity days, workshops or other tasks.
