Inspired by themes brought to light by indigenous performer and storyteller Ian Hunter, Trek was a cheeky look at a changing community.
With over 250 people involved in the show, Trek had all the exuberance of the best community celebrations, including a fair amount of glorious chaos. A simple tale of wanderers in search of a place to call home, Trek was peopled by puppets designed and made by the children and young people of the local area.
Music was created by local school and community choirs, local bands and recorded voices.

Melbourne International Arts Festival Artistic Director Kristy Edmunds has announced that she has programmed Polyglot Puppet Theatre's The Big Game in her final 2008 festival.

- Muckheap QAC schools tour on the road
The ever popular Muckheap schools tour started on Monday 21 July in Gympie, Queensland. From there, the show will tour around the state supported by the Queensland Arts Council.
We have two new performers Janine Watson and Dave Sleswick on board for this tour and we wish them the best of luck.
