Turning his artistic skills toward the realm of puppetry, he began in the workshop, working as a builder and as support for the touring shows (repairing/re-making things) until getting to design and build "The Little Prince" in 1997, which was also his first puppetry role.Since then he has performed in several shows, lived in the UK and Europe (where he honed his carpentry and making skills in the events industry), as well as teaching puppetry at CPCA in Melbourne, and working in the events/exhibitions field. He has worked as a classroom assistant in a Special Development School (which also involved running a puppetry program with the students) as well as continuing to work for Polyglot as a roving performer, workshop taker and creative facilitator on projects such as 'Trek' and 'Me and My Shadow' - which involved working in schools with students to create puppets for performance.
He also designed and built (with a team) the puppets for the opening of the Pacific School Games at Optus Oval in 2005.He worked in the art department and as standby props for 'Raggs' (a childrens TV show) in 2006-2007, organised and run an Artist Run Initiative exhibition space (2004/2005) and is currently finishing his studies in Visual Art and Design with an eye to moving into teaching. In his spare time he sculpts, paints, rides his pushbike, goes to live music gigs and cooks feasts for his friends. Harbours a minor (healthy) obsession with Spain and all things Spanish.
